Shinsuke was made to run

When I was a child, I was a little selfish. On the holiday, I came to a
ground to join a baseball team because my friends offered me. The day was a
holiday. I came a ground to join a baseball team. At first, it was very
interesting. I played catch and batting with some trainers while other
teammates were running. The trainers taught me kindly when one of my
friends was being shouted at by another trainer.
Suddenly, one of trainers called me. He was the oldest in the team. I
thought that he would say something bad. Yes, it was true
…. ‘What are you doing? They are running. You must run with them!’ He
said.
‘No. Thank you. I want to play batting now, I will run later.’ I thought
it so I said it innocently. Then he hit my head with the top of a bat! I
didn’t know what happened at that moment. Of course, it was very painful and I
was angry! I was just playing batting! But the other trainers were on his
side because he was the oldest. It is a terrible culture in Japan. I had to
run for much more time than the other teammates! When I finished running, I
fell down on the ground. I was so angry then, but later, I talked with my
friends and I realized that it was a selfish excuse. Teamwork is the most
important thing for baseball, maybe the trainer wanted to teach it to me.
Since then, I kept playing baseball for 4 years. I like baseball even now.
