Phoebe talks about social customs in Korea

I think there are strict customs in my country than in western culture.

When we talk with older people, we use another verbs. And usually call them ‘uncle or aunt’ not their name.

When addressing friends it is more polite to use just their first name.

It is important to bow when you meet an older person. But if you meet your friends, you can just say hello.

If you are invited to your friend’s house, you should take your shoes off and take little gifts like flowers or a dessert.

when you eat some foods, you should wait the older people pick their spoon or chopsticks up first. And you should eat food quietly. It is rude behavior to as and an eat and speak at the same time.

Influence of western society, It is acceptable for couples to hug or kiss in public. But just some couples which have a brave mind do that.
